About Vintage Hustle
We created Vintage Hustle to help antique mall booth vendors build stronger, more profitable businesses.
Unlike many resources that focus on theory, Vintage Hustle focuses on real-world experience. The articles, tools, and books on this site come from years of working directly with booth vendors inside a successful antique mall.
Over the years, we helped vendors navigate challenges such as pricing, inventory management, booth design, profitability, and long-term growth. We built Vintage Hustle to share those lessons with vendors everywhere.
Where It All Began
Vintage Hustle is a project created by Rodney and Melissa Baker, owners of Rustique Relics LLC, a family-owned antique mall in Alabama.
In 2017, Melissa’s mother, Margaret, opened Rustique Relics with a simple vision. She wanted to create a place where vendors could share their passions for antiques, collectibles, handcrafted goods, and unique treasures.
What started as a small shop quickly grew into a thriving multi-vendor marketplace supported by a loyal community of vendors and customers.
Since then, we have worked with hundreds of vendors. Some were opening their first booth. Others were experienced sellers looking to increase sales, improve profits, or expand their businesses.
As we worked with vendors, we noticed a pattern. Many people asked the same questions and faced the same challenges. Practical information designed specifically for antique mall vendors was difficult to find.
Our friends Maymay and Vince encouraged Rodney to turn years of notes, emails, and vendor advice into a book. That idea eventually became the Vintage Hustle series.

Whether you’re launching your first booth or growing an established business, the Vintage Hustle series serves as a practical reference guide you can return to again and again.
Our Commitment
We follow one simple principle:
Provide honest, practical advice that helps vendors succeed.
We do not sell shortcuts or make unrealistic promises. Instead, we share lessons, strategies, and experiences that have helped real vendors overcome challenges and build successful booths over time.
We believe success in the antique mall business comes from consistency, education, good decision-making, and a willingness to keep learning.
If Vintage Hustle helps you avoid a mistake, improve your booth, increase your profits, or take the next step in your business, then we have accomplished our goal.
Thank you for being part of the Vintage Hustle community.
